GRASSROOTS LIMITED EDITION CD (ONLY 300)
GRASSROOTS 12":
The Grassroots 12" featuring PARTITION's Winning Track 'SUSPECT', GEMMY's Remix and 'AMUSIA' by UPROOT on the flip was released on February 15th.

The GRASSROOTS LP compiled by Nick Argon (Argon Records), BunZer0 (Stainage, SUB FM), Twisted (Dutty Dubz) and Will Blaze (3.5 Records) will be released digitally worldwide on the 25th March.
During a 4 month period, over 700 Tracks from across the globe were submitted
700 were filtered to 120.
120 to 82.
And finally 82 to the 15 outstanding tracks collected on this Compilation
The Grassroots LP represents one snapshot of the splintering scenes of bass music and beyond as we head into 2010. See Tracklisting below.

We first heard P45 from his uploads (2029 and Cockroach) during the Grassroots competition.
His mix has an intriguing and unusual approach. Dextrously transcending genres he uses multiple layers of micro-loops and samples to build a captivating wall of sound.
You can catch P45 at Bloc Festival 2010, Hyp!Hyp!Hyp! (London), Room 237 (Leeds) and numerous other shows in and around Europe.
BUNZER0's MIX DUCKS PIGEON HOLES AND FLIES!
Guest Judge BunZer0 steps in, out, around and beyond any Dubstep "templates" to deliver his 22 track mix, exclusively selected from uploads to the Grassroots Dubstep Competition
"I mostly made my selection based on the tunes' originality.
Dubstep can sometimes be a genre fed by generic and uninspired copy-cat tunes, my point here was to find unknown talents with fresh ideas, far from any template."
"I wanted to find the tunes with soul and a real story to tell.
So maybe some of them are not perfectly produced with some flaws in sound production, but that can be improved with time...
Which is maybe less the case for producers with big skills on the buttons but no ideas and no originality... Harder to learn in my humble opinion !"
