About me

I have loved music since my childhood and from early on I have been making sounds & music. Around seven years old my father got me into DJing. From this base I developed making my own music, with synths and groove-boxes, like the ROLAND MC 303. By the time I was nine I got my first computer, a COMMODORE VIC 20, then a VC128 and later an AMIGA 500. Since WINDOWS 95 I worked on PCs and after Vista switched to Mac. Some years of experience collecting with the pioneers in planetary tuned music Star Sounds Orchestra brought me into the Cosmic Octave Tuning and to an deeper understanding of the nature of sound. The work with Jens Zygar and Steve Schroyder was very inspiring, my start into the professional music production and it made me fall in love with the planet gongs from PAiSTe. Since 1999 i produce electronic music and after my move to Thailand in 2007 the live performance was getting more into focus. Also music productions for other artists are now part of my life. Raymond Romer (CH), Hans de Booij (NL) and Graham Gold (UK) for example. For the live shows the Kosma Solarius and Space Brothers concept is open to guest performances, Tranquilogen "producer & artist", Ueli Madliger "piano", Pete Kearton "guitar", Alexandros Karsiotis "vocal", Juan Carlos Salamanca "flute" and Andrew Barnabas "piano" for example. The mix of electronic music with live instruments is a wonderful add-on to my music. It is lifting the music up to another higher level and it somehow becomes alive on stage. Since 2009 Kosma Solarius / Space Brothers are performing live at the Half Moon Festival on the tropical island Koh Phangan in Thailand. In January 2013 i finally became also a Gong Master and i play since that time ones every week my legendary planet gong set witch was played by the inventor of the planet gongs Jens Zygar.
