About me

Terrakota germinates an organic music profoundly rooted into black Africa that springs out from the Sahara, the Caribean islands, India, The West and flourishes before the Jamaican Sun. Interior and exterior journeys, without beginning or end, without identity or passport...... Studies, absorbation, confrontation, encounters with the Source, that binds us together with our Planet... Fusion, energy, passion, joy, rhythms that join different cultures, languages and instruments together.... Guiding us towards the simplicity and well-being in life. .... Listen, feel, recreate, reinvent, play, dance, sing, protest, awaken consciences, in what concerns the state of the world we live in, whether it be by choice or by force. Six years are summarised into these tasty words and into the feeling of their music. During this time we were able to appreciate them in concerts live, in remote villages and also in big festivals in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Slovenia, Big Asia and Mama Africa... Terrakota is a party, warmth, a dream, colour, rhythm and love. Due to the spontaneity of each of these individuals, this group of “melody chefs” create magical tastes.... Playing around with the variety of sounds, beats and cultures that belong to our world… Each music a journey, each journey a music… To reach and awaken ideas and positive vibrations in each listener is one of their main objectives, present in their shows. A transfusion of energy with no age limit, specific language or defined styles that protests in support of our right to open borders and out of date visas.
