About me

My name is Joseph chaganiza people also know me as alpha or Joe see I’m currently on an independent label called ragtime music, which was founded back in 2000. I am involved in the label playing my part in producing, sound and visual engineering and also being the first artist for the label. I have been involved in music from a young age taking up piano, steel drums and bagpipe lessons as a kid, I stated rapping when I was sixteen. I wrote and recorded my fist album at eighteen using the skills that I gained from a sound engineering course which I took when I was in college and from there on to the next five years leading up to now there has been eighth album releases, released and distributed independently on my label At the moment I am doing some promotional work for my new album entitled seasons change, which will be out in the mouth of May 2007 on ragtime music I have been playing live in open mic and spoken word venues around London My musical style would be described as an articulation of life on abstract beats My musical influences range from a wide genre from classical, jazz and blues, afro beat 60s and 70s soul, motown, disco and of course hip hop so if was to mention any artist would be here for ages I have been working as a solo artist.
